Peter Herrington – Founder and Visionary
Peter Herrington founded BWD Group in 1971 after relocating to Australia from the UK with his family.
A pioneer in the industry, Peter was the first to introduce Hydroseeding to Victoria and laid the foundation for what is now a 53-year legacy of excellence in the grassing and construction industries.
Under his leadership, BWD Group became a trusted name, known for reliability and a commitment to quality service.
Andrew Herrington –
With over 30 years in the landscape and hydroseeding industry, Andrew Herrington has built a strong reputation for reliability, expertise, and results. After taking over BWD 20 years ago, he expanded the business while preserving its core values, drawing on specialised hydroseeding training completed in the United States. Andrew’s hands-on leadership, industry knowledge, and commitment to quality continue to position BWD as a trusted name in grassing services.
Aaron Thornton
Aaron Thornton has been an integral part of BWD for over 14 years. Currently serving as Operations Manager, Aaron brings extensive knowledge of hydroseeding, ensuring every project is completed with precision and efficiency. His deep understanding of both domestic and civil operations, combined with a strong results-driven approach, has enabled him to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
